Your Initial consultation will last approximately 45-60 minutes
This is where your chiropractor will first discuss your reasons for seeking care, overall health, medical history and lifestyle.
From here we will conduct a thorough examination using an array of medical, orthopaedic and neurological tests to check the function of the nervous, joint and muscular systems.
A picture will emerge about you, your health, your complaint, your lifestyle and areas that need improvement in your day to day living. This information will not just indicate the cause of complaint and resulting areas of dysfunction that need care but what type of care and what tips and tools or lifestyle adjustments we might need to make to prevent re-occurrence. Once identified your chiropractor will explain the findings and establish a care plan to suit your individual needs. This in turn allows the expectations, process and desired outcomes of care to be outlined.
Following this as long as it is safe to do so, you and your chiropractor are happy to proceed you will receive your first chiropractic treatment.
It may be necessary at times to obtain some form of imaging which we will organise.
Following sessions each approximately 15 minutes
Each session at Sports ‘n’ Spines Redland Bay begins with a review, reassessment and then treatment if safe to do so.
